Vaccination Highlights by Age Group
- Birth: Initial vaccines include BCG for tuberculosis and the 1st dose of HBV for hepatitis B.
- 2–4 Months: Focus on combined vaccines to protect against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, hepatitis B, Hib, polio, pneumococcal disease, and rotavirus.
- 6 Months: Influenza vaccination is added alongside core vaccines.
- 9–18 Months: Focus on vaccines for measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR), as well as booster doses for pneumococcal and influenza vaccines.
- 4–6 Years: Booster doses (DTaP and OPV) are administered to ensure continued immunity before starting school.
